World Book Day Events

Although World Book Day is on Thursday 5th March, we are planning to include activities across the whole week, beginning on Monday 2nd March to celebrate the joy of reading and books!

Activities will include:

• From Monday 2nd: Design a Wooden Spoon Character competition
• Thursday 5th: Share a Book – parents are invited to come into school with their child (08:45) or the beginning  to share a story together. This could be a story book or some of your child’s own writing that they may like to share with you!
• Tuesday 3rd: 'Name that Character' – School Adults vs Pupils
• Thursday 5th: Year 2 - 6 Michael Rosen online workshop
• Thursday 5th: Optional wearing of pyjamas OR dressing up as a book character
• Listening to stories read by different teachers
• Yr 4 - 6 Footy and Booky online quiz
